AAPL Alliance Program
The American Association of Professional Landmen serves 12,000 members and the industry at large by providing legislative advocacy, career advancement and educational opportunities as well as professional support through publications, seminars and industry events. The support of our Alliance Partners helps AAPL spread awareness of the land profession; advocate for the entire energy industry; recruit young professionals; and create evolving, effective programs and services that aid energy professionals and help shape the future.

Premier Recognition at Annual Meeting
AAPL hosts its professional development and land conference, providing education tracks, networking functions and social events at a different venue around the country at our Annual Meeting every June.
Premier Recognition at all AAPL Energy Institutes
AAPL’s six Energy Institutes offer a premium education event with a networking component. Held regionally around the country, these events are hosted by AAPL and have leadership coordination with corresponding AAPL local associations.

The Landman is the premier magazine of the energy land management profession. Our flagship publication tracks operational procedures, legislative activity, environmental developments and up-to-date oil and gas interests with technical articles from a wide variety of industry experts.
